1920's STYLE APRON

Two in one! I love these fully reversible aprons -- if one side is dirty, just turn it over. This apron features a retro cooking pattern on one side and a pretty flower pattern on the other. Both sides have two pockets. Great coverage around your hips too, and ties around the back. (Smaller folks may choose to wrap the ties around to the front.)

This great apron pattern was given to women during the Depression and enabled them to make aprons out of feed sacks. Because women did not have a lot of clothes, they wore aprons to protect the ones that they had. By covering up their clothes when doing housework, it meant the clothes could be washed less and last longer.
